These are the headlines you Need 2 Know. * **Manafort Plea Violation:** Special Counsel Robert Mueller said in a court filing that Paul Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign manager, repeatedly lied to the FBI in the two months since he started cooperating with prosecutors as part of a plea deal. The filing charges that Manafort lied about a “variety of subject matters,” which Manafort’s lawyers deny. Manafort is awaiting sentencing on his financial fraud convictions. The spacecraft touched down just before 3 p.m. ET Monday, the first landing on the Red Planet since the Curiosity rover in 2012. The girls’ father is HIV-positive. The research hasn’t yet been published, leading scientists to urge caution. If true, however, experts say this is historic. The gene-editing technique, called CRISPR, is extremely controversial.
