These are the headlines you Need 2 Know. * **Manafort Plea Violation:** Special Counsel Robert Mueller said in a court filing that Paul Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign manager, repeatedly lied to the FBI in the two months since he started cooperating with prosecutors as part of a plea deal. The filing charges that Manafort lied about a “variety of subject matters,” which Manafort’s lawyers deny. Manafort is awaiting sentencing on his financial fraud convictions. The spacecraft touched down just before 3 p.m. ET Monday, the first landing on the Red Planet since the Curiosity rover in 2012. The InSight will be getting a look below the planet’s surface and “mapping the planet’s underworld” on a mission scheduled to last two years. The girls’ father is HIV-positive. The research hasn’t yet been published, leading scientists to urge caution. If true, however, experts say this is historic. The gene-editing technique, called CRISPR, is extremely controversial. Apple:**Microsoft briefly surpassed Apple in market cap for the first time in eight years, becoming the most valuable company in the world, at least for a few hours. Baldwin reportedly admitted to cops that he pushed the man who “stole” his spot, but the man claims the actor also struck him across the face. Baldwin was released on his own recognizance. After a customer wrote about the Bank of America ATM on social media, cars began lining up and fights broke out. Local law enforcement ultimately shut down the machine, and Bank of America told customers they could keep the windfall.
