Adam Malone, EY threat detection and response leader, joined Cheddar News senior reporter Michelle Castillo at the 2023 RSA Conference to discuss the implications that are associated the development and rapid progression of artificial intelligence. He said the technology could allow potential bad actors to develop more phishing scams that seem legit to even the most careful internet users. "Another application might be using ChatGPT to create malicious code," he said. "It's going to help more people get access to coding tools with a lower threshold of entry and create more potentially malicious tools that could get into circulation faster."

Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama says his new Cabinet will include an artificial intelligence “minister” in charge of fighting corruption. The AI, named Diella, will oversee public funding projects and combat corruption in public tenders.
