Wondering what to watch this weekend? This week we have Golded Age social climbers, the true story of the Hollywood Bling Ring from the ringleader herself, and a Christmastime classic.

The Buccaneers - Apple TV+

Picked by Keara O’Driscoll

If a show features a debutante ball,” you can bet your bottom dollar that I will definitely be watching. Yesterday, I saw an ad on Instagram for what I think will be the newest modern take on a period piece. The show features a group of American gals navigating 1870s London. The series, for sure, gives off Bridgerton/The Gilded Age/Little Women, with an extra oomph of modern feminism as seen in its trailer that features Olivia Rodrigo's “All-American B****.”

The Ringleader: The Case of the Bling Ring - Max

Picked by Senior Editor Dina Ross

Fifteen years ago a crime spree in Los Angeles captured national attention: teens robbing some of the biggest names in Tinseltown. The mansions of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and Orlando Bloom were all hit and it turns out the thieves were not part of a high-profile ring of international criminals - it was a bunch of teens who wanted to get their hands on luxury swag. The story took on a life of its own, but Rachel Lee, the purported mastermind of the scheme, was largely absent. This time, she's the focus of the film and tells her own version of what happened. At times she sounds crafty, naive, selfish, sad, and optimistic, but as she says - this is her story, as she recalls it.

Home Alone - Starz, Disney+

Picked by Lawrence Banton

Holiday season, commence! Yup, I am in that mode (the most cheerful) and I kicked it off with a classic in Home Alone. Everyone loves watching Kevin protect his home for the holidays, right? It's pretty much a tradition for me to watch this film at least twice during this time of year and it never gets old. One thing that always bugged me, however, was that Kevin never actually got to enjoy his mac and cheese. All that hard work in booby trapping the crib just to have to fight the 'Wet Bandits' on an empty stomach. *Shakes head.*
