Former President Donald Trump has yet to be arrested after he told supporters that he expected to be indicted in New York this week.

A Manhattan grand jury has been tasked with hearing evidence about the ex-commander-in-chief's role in a hush-money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels. The jury was not present in court on Wednesday, meaning Thursday is the earliest charges against Trump, if any, would be announced.
