D&D SCORCHES BOX OFFICE 

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves led the weekend box office with $38.5 million. The movie, based on the popular table-top game, was projected to debut with $30 to $40 million in its opening weekend.Internationally, the film made $33 million for a global total of $71.5 million. Variety cited positive reviews and enthusiastic word-of-mouth as the reason for the strong box office returns. The movie has a 91 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

NEW MARVEL SERIES 

Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for Secret Invasion. The upcoming espionage series will star Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and feature several other characters from previous marvel movies and shows. It will also introduce new big-name stars into the MCU as well.

INDIANA JONES GOES TO CANNES

Indiana Jones is headed to Cannes. The 2023 film festival will host the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny on May 18. Disney confirmed the previously reported news earlier today. The film's director, James Mangold, said in a statement, "In 1995, I was honored to come to Cannes with my first film. 28 years later, I am proud to return with a slightly larger spectacle. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will see the return of Harrison Ford as one of his most iconic characters. The festival will also host a career tribute to the actor, 15 years after the it debuted Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'
