One Good Thing: New England Turtles Sent to Florida to Warm Up
Winters in the northeast are not for the faint of heart. From brutal temperatures to snow-filled nor'easters, it can be a mountain to climb. A few turtles at a New England aquarium were able to escape the cold, at least for now, and were sent down south to Florida.
At least seven people were killed Monday after a “superfog” of smoke from marsh fires and dense morning fog caused a series of wrecks on Interstate 55 near New Orleans.
