Weekend Box Office

It was a disappointing weekend for the DC Comics and Warner Bros. as lightning didn't strike twice for the studio's latest effort in Shazam: Fury of the Gods at the box office. Despite coming up short, the film still opened at the number one spot, with Scream VI coming in second, and Creed III rounding out the top three.

Home of the 'Good Burger'

Fans of '90s Nickelodeon shows don't overreact, but Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell have officially confirmed that they are linking up to work on a sequel to Good Burger. The comedic duo broke the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and said they are set to begin filming this summer with the expectation the flick will be released around the holidays. "Sinbad is definitely going to be back. Even if we got to go to him, we'll make sure we have Sinbad for sure," Thompson said. The original movie about workers at a burger joint trying to save their restaurant from a new competitor was released 26 years ago.

But just days later, it was revealed that Julianne Hough is set to take up hosting duties. Alfonso Ribierio will now emcee with another host yet to be named. Hough has the expert chops to judge the competition as she has two ballroom championships of her own.
