From Jake Paul's next big swing to the possible return of Meredith Grey, here's what's happening in entertainment.

Jake Paul in Hollywood

This year has been full of firsts for the polarizing Jake Paul, who turned a buzzing YouTube channel into a successful, full-fledged boxing career. After seven bouts, Paul took his first 'L' in his pro career against the seasoned Tommy Fury, who won in a split decision in February. Now Paul is taking a brief hiatus from the ring to test out his acting chops.

He was tapped to take up the role of a young fighter on his ascent to international stardom – a world very familiar to Paul.

"I'm thrilled to be partnering with Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street on my first feature film project," he told Variety in an exclusive. "As someone who has always believed in pushing boundaries and taking risks, I can't wait to bring this unique story and my brand to the big screen."

Ricki Takes it Off

First it was Martha Stewart showing a little more skin than we're used to from the 81-year-old. Then it was Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran getting in on the action. Now, iconic talk show host Ricki Lake is bearing it all.

In a move to show the world that she has finally accepted herself, she took to Instagram and posted a fully nude photo with a caption that read, in part, "Hands down, these days are the best of my life. 54 ½ years old (young). Grateful for all that had to happen for me to get here."

The rest of the caption was an ode to her husband, Ross Burningham, who she married last year.

The post comes a few years after another liberating move Lake conducted. She shaved her entire head, which she revealed in an Instagram post explaining her 30-year struggle with androgenetic alopecia, which is a condition that causes hair loss.

Grey's Return

Grey's Anatomy fans were left in shambles when the lead character, Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo, exited Grey Sloan Memorial for the last time in season 19 – or was it the last time? During Variety's Actors on Actors series, Pompeo revealed that she might be making a return to the show.

"I will be making some appearances hopefully next year, if I can find some time," she said. "No, it's not a complete goodbye. And I think we've got an interesting story to tell."

At the time of Grey's departure on the show, fans suggested producers left the door open for a return. The character said, "I'm only going to Boston and you know I'll probably be here next week." Whether that turns out to be true remains to be seen.

Pompeo is still close to the show, where she remains an executive producer.
