Beyoncé on Road

It might as well be Christmas for Beyoncé's bey-hive as she gears up for a return to the stage.

Today marks the start of her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour as she kicks off in Sweden. With the range of new music she's expected to perform, Queen Bey could capitalize in a major way if fans pop out.

Forbes estimates that the tour could gross a staggering $2.1 billion in revenue. The outlook is based on fans purchasing premium tickets that average around $700. The show is slated to run 57 times between May and September.

Janet in the Big Apple

Janet Jackson just sold out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row, and the occasion was capped off with a never-before-seen moment featuring rapper Busta Rhymes.

In 1998, the duo collaborated on the classic What's It Gonna Be, which was featured on Rhymes' Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front, but they had never performed it until last night.

Following the performance, Rhymes showered Jackson with a few gifts, including flowers and a cake ahead of her 57th birthday on May 16. The rapper was brought to tears as he thanked Jackson for bringing him out and performing their iconic song together for the very first time.

'The Voice' in Virtual Reality

Maybe you're ready to flex your vocal chords and take your own show on the road. The Voice is giving fans of the reality competition show a chance to chase their own musical dreams — in virtual reality.

ITV Studios and Virtual Brand Developer have joined forces to build a Roblox-style virtual world that will be free for anyone to access. Once online, fans will get the opportunity to audition, battle other users, and win limited edition in-VR clothing.

The May 12 launch coincides with the final weeks of Season 23 of the NBC show and will be limited to U.S. users before launching globally on an undisclosed date.
