BEHIND AUTOCORRECT

If you've ever typed a text message or an email in a hurry, you've probably noticed your iPhone changing certain words without your permission. The auto-correct feature on your phone was designed to prevent typos and errors, but it doesn't quite get it right all the time. A USA Today report found that the keyboard dictionary gets to know you based on what you've typed before and typically learns words that are typed correctly two times. But auto-correct really misses the mark when it comes to profanity, replacing a curse word with a word like duck.
