Olympic gold medalist Angela Ruggiero, CEO and co-founder of Sports Innovation Lab, discusses the U.S. Women's Hockey team's gold medal win over Canada. Ruggiero also shares her thoughts on the cutting edge technology she saw at the PyeongChang games. Ruggiero says the gold medal game between the United States and Canada was one of the best hockey games she's ever seen. Ruggiero was a member of the last U.S. women's hockey team to win gold in 1998. She handed out the gold medals to this year's team members in South Korea. Ruggiero believes registration numbers will spike for young girls joining hockey teams in the U.S. Ruggiero also tells us about the amazing tech she saw at the games, from 5G cellular networks to events being broadcast in 8K.
